Sharpen Your Saw

Every once in a while it is important to sharpen your saw. Relax, review and renew.

Take a deep breath and relax as you exhale. Get into the habit of doing this during your day. Pick events that happen often – getting in your car, sitting down at your desk, even going to the bathroom (make it even more of a rest room.)

Every week, take a major time block – 15-30 minutes – to review the last week and plan out the new week. Every night, take 5 mintues and review your day with an eye to celebrating accomplishments and learning lessons.

As often as you can, renew your enthusiasm by reviewing your ‘why’. Pull out your goal cards and ‘relive’ accomplishing them. Review your prospecting material to sell yourself again on your opportunity.

Sharpen your saw so you can be more effective.
